Following the idea of late Gál Tibor – enologist - , Eger Wine Guild has been organising wine saloon in Hotel Eger & Park since 2001. The atmosphere reminds us the “civil world” where the winemakers personally taste their wines to wine connoisseurs. Face to face meeting between wineries and their consumers are more and more important, changing thoughts, ideas, talk about wine in a cultural way. This is also the time to give Gál Tibor Award to a Winery of Eger since 2005.
