St. John’s Day Blessing of the Wine
27th December 2009 Eger
With the aim of evoking tradition, representatives of Wine Communities, Wine Orders, Wine Knights and Masters of Ceremonies, wineries make a procession in costumes in the Cathedral. The mass starts at 10.00 a.m. where new wines are put on the altar for consecration. After the mass, mould wine is waiting for all guests in the Lyceum.
