Harvest Days of Eger– Harvest Parade

5th – 6th September 2009 Eger

During these two days, the atmosphere of harvest characterises the town and also Szépasszonyvölgy (Nice Woman’s Valley). The people of the procession walk through the town in a pleasant march by walk, with carts and on horseback followed by music band. During their way help spectators with wine and Hungarian salty scones. Women create a giant wreath by grape and give it to the Town Mayor. Traditionally, the Wine Community Judge opens harvest time.
