Nagytálya
Nagytálya is situated at the foot of the Bükk Mountains, 13 km far from Eger on the south. Nagytálya was integrated to Maklár. Its first certified mentioning in written documents goes back to 1261. The Turks – like other villages around Eger – destroyed Nagytálya as well had made it uninhabited for almost 180 years. The mill of Szentkereszt, stands at the meeting point of the Eger Brook and the road entering the village from its railway station, is a national industrial monument in bad condition.
